1994--Immaculate Island--published in the NATIONAL LIBRARY OF POETRY volume titled ECHOES OF YESTERDAY. The poem was rated in the top 3% of the thousands that were submitted for that year's contest.

1996--Breakfast Luck From July--published in the local Kankakee Community College journal, THE PRARIE FIRE.
